Poquito Mas - Burbank

I was not impressed with this restaurant. I fail to see what all the hype is about. I have had better meals elsewhere, especially considering the prices. There was no need to take photos of the food as it was not visually appealing. The atmosphere was nice but the parking situation was difficult. I do not think I will be returning. We ordered a shrimp burrito, pork burrito, and a pork bowl. The staff seemed reluctant to accommodate the request for a bowl, but ultimately did so.

The establishment is clean and well-maintained, but the customer service is terrible. Both the cashier and server seemed bothered by my simple questions when I placed my order and asked for a fork. The food was cold and difficult to chew, and I found it to be overpriced. They did not provide salsa, and when I requested some, I felt uncomfortable seeing the server's displeased expression. I will not be returning to this restaurant.

When I looked at the menu and placed our order, the person at the register seemed annoyed by my questions as a polite customer who knew what I wanted. Despite paying a high price for Mexican food, the quality was not impressive. My burrito was filled with too much white rice and there was no salsa bar or salsa provided. My husband's appetizer had cold cheese on top and was not fully melted. His carne asada burrito was cold in the middle. We asked for salsa and received an empty container that did not contain any salsa. We were hungry, so we ended up eating it and immediately felt sick. I would recommend finding another Mexican restaurant in Los Angeles that provides better service, fully cooked food, reasonable prices, and fresh salsa.

I have a cold burrito. the tortilla was ice cold and the meat inside too. my wife got afteros and the crushed cheese was not melted at all. they do not give them serviettes of salsas, and the people who work there full of aditude as if they would do me a favor. we were there for the reviews, but I wonder if all 5 star reviews are real?

My wife doesn't like it because it doesn't come from a truck, but it's old school LA Mexican food, and it's good.
