Marias Tex Mex Buford

Called in a To Go order for a grilled chicken fiesta salad. What I received was very disappointing! The little bit of lettuce you see in the photo is the ONLY lettuce that there was. There were no grilled onions or peppers like the menu stated and very little chicken as you can see here. I’ve eaten here a few times and every time my experience seems to get worse.

We had a good time playing musical bingo. The food was good. The steak was really good, as was the rice that came with it. I definitely want to come back sometime.

The bartender, Karen, apart from being the nicest one ever and really friendly. She recommended me her favorite drink and we had a pretty good talk. Atmosphere was okay, and food as well but let me tell you… the drinks were amazing. If you go to Maria’s, you HAVE TO ask to get sat at the bar with Karen! This girl is the best!

Very poor food. Very poor margaritas. Watered down cos amigos mezcal in an oversized shot glass and only less than half an oz. I know shots of tequila and I know George Clooney Mezcal. It was at least half water and the skinny margarita was made with bottled lime juice. Overcooked carnitas. Won’t go back even though I like the location and building. Such a shame!

I had dinner with a friends. They sat us in the boot area, the place looked organized and clean. The only thing made me give it 4 stars is the fact that day the AC unit was not working, so we were forced to go to the patio.
