Kani House - Buford

I would have given it five stars, but I made a reservation for the dining area and ended up getting seated in the hibachi section instead. I had to wait an extra 20 minutes to be seated in the right area. Other than that small hiccup, everything else was amazing. The overall experience was great.

To be honest, I had standard expectations when I visited this hibachi restaurant, but it turned out to be one of the best I have ever been to! Everything, from the fresh water to the perfectly balanced ginger dressing on the salad and the flavorful soup, all the way to the delicious ice cream for dessert, was of exceptional quality. This hibachi spot is definitely above average in terms of taste and freshness of food. Although there was a small issue with the timing of when the chefs started cooking our meals, causing a slight delay in finishing our food, overall it was an amazing experience and I would highly recommend it, especially for special occasions like birthdays.

I had an incredible dining experience at this restaurant. Tony provided excellent service and I would definitely return for another birthday party. It is the perfect place for gatherings with family and friends. I enjoyed a salad, soup, and crab Rangoon as appetizers, followed by a main course of steak, shrimp, and chicken. I finished off with a delicious serving of ice cream for dessert. If you are looking for a great time, this is the place to go. Highly recommended!

You can find Kani House at 3208 Buford Drive, GA 30519 right across from one of the main Mall of Georgia entrances. It's fairly easy to find with the front facing Buford Drive. Parking is all around the building and there's usually plenty you can overflow to either side in adjoining lots. The exterior of the building has a terracotta looking roof and exposted rafters to give it the appearance of a traditional Japanese building a bit pagoda style but without the upward turned corners.
