Surge - Buffalo

Surge has nice ambience, is very clean and service is excellent. I love that the waiter left a full carafe of coffee at the table so I didn't have to wait for refills. My son loved his cheeseburger and fries and my Spartan omelette with pancakes was very good. We'll definitely return.

Walked in with my group, server greeted us promptly and took our drink orders. We got water all around with lemons, asked for lemons 3x never got them, looked at the menu saw nothing appetizing asked for the check for the 2 coffees we ordered and left.

Cute little restaurant that we tried recently, but likely won 't return. I will say, my gyro pita was really good! My fiancé ordered the falafel pita which was dry. We both ordered side salads with our pitas and mine came with just lettuce and tomatoes, while my fiancé 's had far more ingredients atop his (onions, pepperoncini, olives, etc. . While the server was nice, the service was slow and inattentive. Had to ask for creamer (none on table , received the wrong dressing for our salads, never received napkins, our drinks sat empty for quite some time, and really wasn 't a fan of the automatic Kitchen Love fee. I understand that it was voluntary, but felt it was deceptive to not explain that before giving us our bill. Also, the suggested tip on the receipt is based on the total including that fee, so essentially you would be tipping the server based on a kitchen fee? Very odd and didn 't like this.

I wouldn't recommend ordering from DoorDash. I ordered pancakes but didn't receive any syrup, butter, or whipped cream as advertised, and they also forgot the silverware. I've never been to this restaurant before, and after this experience, I probably won't order from them again through DoorDash. However, the hollandaise sauce was good.

The experience was very nice from start to finish. I had a western omelette and pancakes. All of which were delicious. The home fries looked good, but I did not have room to try them.Parking: We parked in back and there is a rear entrance to the restaurant which was nice.
