Applebee's - Buffalo

Went for a late lunch around 2:30pm on Sunday March 19th. It was hardly a busy day yet the restaurant was FILTHY. Dirty silverware. Food all over the floor. Garbage strewn all over the place. Ordered a beer and a cocktail for my wife. Neither arrived before we were 3/4 through our meals. The Waitress clearly did want to be there and was not interested in giving us service at all. Still tipped because I'm not a Karen but we seriously would not consider going back. And you shouldn't either if you enjoy cleanliness and decent service.

Went here for my girlfriend's birthday, the waitress was really nice. I got the blue Hawaiian Duane the rock Johnson tequila drink and my girlfriend got a strawberry lemonade. We both got the same entree of honey tenders and Mac and cheese. And the spinach artichoke dip for the appetizer. It was all great. Only complaint is that there's not really enough dip for all those chips. First time having tequila, was really nice.

We had to pick up someone from the airport, so because this location is relatively close to the Buffalo/Niagara Airport, we went. We arrived at 7:20 pm, we waited about 10 minutes to be seated, it was not busy. We were seated and waited longer for beverages. We finally had a waiter take our appetizer order. The pretzel sticks were pretty good. But thats where is ended. We werent checked on, and never ordered a meal. Left at 8:13 pm. That's 53 minutes for water, soda, and sticks. Definitely understaffed, manager didn't come by, and waiter was inattentive. The worst part was the person we picked up from the airport was foreign and had never been to the United States and this was his first experience. What an absolute embarrassment!!

I NEVER write reviews, but had to after the exceptional service my fiancé and I received from the young shift manager who was working yesterday afternoon. He was extremely attentive, kind, and showed amazing hospitality. We also watched how hard he worked and his ability to handle many other tasks at the same time. We would come back to this location FROM CANADA only due to his quality service. He definitely left a mark on our hearts.

The food was good. Ordered a margarita ...it came in the shaker so I had to pour it myself I also didn't get any salt and it was poured in a martini glass...it was strange. The table was dirty we, we had to wipe it ourselves. The floor under our table was covered in crushed chips. But the food was good.
