Yummy Thai - Buffalo

I dined at a charming Thai restaurant that served delicious Healthy Garlic. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere of the dining room was welcoming.

Clean restaurant, great food, great price. People should eat here more.

The food at this restaurant was fantastic! It's been a long time since I've had such amazing Thai food, and I was thrilled that it was actually spicy enough for my liking. I can't stop thinking about this place and I'm excited to go back again soon.

I ordered the Duck with veggies. The Duck was chunks of Duck meat along with bones in every piece. I really didn't care for it at all. You don't get a knife, so you really have to use your fingers to separate the meat from the bones. There was a lot of just plain fat. First time I've ever had Thai food and probably the last. I also like my veggies cooked a heck of a lot more than what they served me. Maybe that's just the way Thai serves veggies, raw, not my style.

My husband and I arrived Saturday about 5pm for dinner. There were only 3 other tables of 2. After sitting almost 10 minutes, we were brought water, but not asked if we would like anything else. Almost 10 minutes later, a waitress showed up and took our order and again we were never asked if we wanted something to drink, but we asked for wine. The wine came about several minutes later and then 20 more minutes before our appetizers came. I watched the waitress take our appetizers to another table, then back to the kitchen to get that table's correct appetizer, then back to the kitchen to retrieve ours and bring it to us. Our Fresh Summer Spring Rolls with shrimp arrived room temperature with maybe one shrimp chopped up between the pieces and were stuck together. Our Golden Triangles were raw in the middle and barely warm. My entree, Mixed Seafood Tom Kha, arrived 15 minutes later and was hot and flavorful. My husband's entree, Roasted Duck Pud Kee Mow super hot, arrived at our table another 15 minutes later. His duck was fried ,barely warm and not very spicy at all. The noodles were hot. When I went to use the ladies room, I couldn't lock the door. It took another 20 minutes to get containers for our left overs, bring our check, take our card and return it to us. I also noticed the table cloth was disgustingly dirty. There's no excuse for the slow, inept service we received which is quite disappointing as we enjoyed the flavors of our food. We won't be returning.
