The waiter provided as an assortment of recommended sushi and appetizers. We also had the grilled octopus which just melted in our mouths. Highly recommend.
We found this restaurant lifeless somber and the interior somewhat bland. The upstairs section is by no means expansive with low ceilings and tables rather close together for the current covid situation. The food was not much better and we had lively La Mar and atmospheric Taki Ongoy to compare. The latter had a much more diverse menu and choice and certainly more reasonably priced than Osaka If a Peruvian restaurant cannot get classical ceviche right which surely is a gold standard of measure then it does not say much -their ceviche was too acidic
This is my preferred sushi restaurant in Buenos Aires. This is a Peruvian and Japanese restaurant, which makes it unique. It’s in the Palermo neighborhood. Everything is perfectly prepared and their sushi and maki combinations are different to what were used to in the United States. Essentially everything in the menu is worth trying. Don’t forget to pair your sushi with a nice white Argentinian wine
Food was great, service was disappointing. Let the whole experience down compared to everything else in Peru. Understand thats just one person but we were excited to go there and were let down unfortunately.
The first thing you need when you visit a restaurant is a good honest welcome. We didn’t get this. The welcome was minimal and rather pretentious. It was as though the member of staff was more important than us. Having got over this, the table service was patchy and badly organised. It was not clear to us or seemingly the waiters, who was looking after which table. The food was beautifully presented and delicious. Finally they did something well. The location is boring and corporate and you could be in any part of the world.
