What great decisions we make!Environment: elena is the main restaurant of this four seasons located at the lobby level. the decoration is a mixture of the contemporary and the French neighborhood, with an open kitchen and two-level seats. a dry aging refrigerator is displayed to the front with a winery on the second floor. lunch menu: apps, salads, sausages, pastas, birds, meats, fish. food: salted shrimp - $13. four shrimps of good size were laid on a creamy and tasty red cabbage bed and covered with onions fries. tasty application, but shrimps could have been charred to give you a more appetizing texture. Elena Caesar salad - $12. an excessively generous amount of smoked trout replaced anchovies that have a taste similar to salmon. the dressing was creamy, the size of the portion was small. bitter leaves - $9.50 My wife's dish. thick pieces of different vegetables were thrown into an orange dressing. I had none because I didn't care about any of the ingredients. risotto parmegiano - $ 15.50 also my wife's dish. I tried a spoonful of this abundant selection, but I'm not a fanatic of its texture, although he got it. Very rich and creamy. service: our waitress was kind, but he did not attend to us. a manager came to see how the guests were. ---------- buffet breakfast: daily breakfast was included in our room. I've never seen a new honeycomb station until I got here. Honey and toast are much better than jelly / jam! my mushroom tortilla / ham / cheese was spongy and tasty. I asked for iced tea I got on the first day. the next day they made a version of earl grey that didn't get me. A streak of fried mandex covered the dish for a bit of starch. service: again, very professional. in general: exquisite steaks, good options for breakfast and lunch. affordable to be in a hotel. Great service. Very recommended!
We went to brunch many times. the food is excellent and the excellent service. very attentive waiters always filling our glasses and helping us with the children. selection of meats and quality is excellent and desserts are to die. it will return as we usually do every month.
I went to celebrate my girlfriend's birthday last night. the place is located within the four seasons hotel, the service was excellent and received us with a glass of sparkling wine while we waited for our table, and the menu is full of classic Argentine dishes and contemporary dishes. I strongly recommend to try the lomo bife. Finally, I want to point out that the sommelier was of great help to find us a perfect wine that would combine with our two dishes. It's not a cheap place, but it's worth it!
We were a group of 8 and booked the chef's table. our food was a kind of normal food: a very tasty charcutería table to start; then grilled beans, fried cauliflower and tomatoes with burrata and basil; then grilled trout, grilled bife, green salad and pasta with broccoli and cream sauce as main dish; and homemade mandarin and chocolate ice cream plus a dessert sweet cream crepe. Nothing too elaborate, but everything very well prepared and we pass the bowls on the table. made for a pleasant friendly lunch. the atmosphere is quite pleasant and the waiters are efficient.
Nice atmosphere and competent bartenders, I wish I could say the same about food. really normal and I'm sure there are better places. The dish of sweet breads was a deception, chewable as a gum and nothing soft as it should be, also a little bit bad drip to the grill. The new york steak was of medium quality, not bad and not really good, it's just fine at best. Although he was well prepared. I didn't even finish the steak and leave it half without eating. It is still fully charged for all dishes; it seemed quite unusual practice, but perhaps that is the custom in Argentina. I really can't recommend it, as I'm sure you can find better steaks and food nearby.
