Pizza Venetia - Bucharest

Am observat reclamele lor pentru scoici și le-am vizitat. Interiorul este primitor și, fiind multe case, are o atmosferă plăcută. Serviciul este ok și mâncarea a venit rapid. Mâncarea este accesibilă și ne-am bucurat atât de pizza, cât și de...midii. Unele băuturi sunt mai scumpe decât prețul lor obișnuit, probabil pentru a se concentra pe mâncare și a evita să devină un colț de bodega cu băuturi ieftine.

Nu am ales cel mai bun moment pentru prânz acolo pentru că era o după-amiază fierbinte de vară și nu aveau aer condiționat. Singurul ventilator de pe jumătate din terasă nu a fost suficient, însă mâncarea și serviciul au compensat parțial. Am avut un pui la grătar... cu cartofi piure, o Paste al Forno gratinată (foarte gustoasă) și unele dintre faimosul lor midii într-un fel de sos de lămâie, ulei de măsline, usturoi, pătrunjel și însoțite de două felii de Focaccia. Fără stele Michelin, dar gătite corespunzător și combinate cu un serviciu rapid și un preț bun. Merită cel puțin o încercare!

Acesta este locul perfect unde vin când sunt flămând și doar vreau să mănânc ceva (nimic deosebit, doar mâncare bună într-un loc confortabil). Am fost acolo de mai multe ori cu prietenii, copiii, etc. Pizza este foarte bună și prețurile sunt accesibile. Dacă vrei să petreci ore în șir la masă (până târziu) acesta nu este locul (ultima comandă este la 22.00 sau 23.00 ceva de genul). Personalul este foarte prietenos.

We didn't pick the best time for having lunch there, because it was a hot summer afternoon and they didn't have air conditioning. The only fan on the semi-terrace was not enough, but the food and the service somehoe compensated. We had one grilled chicken with masshed potatoes, one gratinated pasta al forno (very tasty) and one of their famous dish - mussels in a sort of a sauce made of lemon, olive oil, garlic, parsley and accompanied by two slices of focaccia.Not an "x" Michelin stars, however correctly cooked and combined with a prompt service and a good price. It's worth it at least one try!

We had lunch there: grilled chiken with mashed potatoes, Penne Gratin Al Forno and their star dish - fresh mussels cooked with garlic, white wine and parsley, and served with two slices of focaccia. They say that the mussles are freshly fished and brought from the Black Sea. The star-dish was not something exquisite, but OK for a lunch in a pizzeria in Bucharest. The rest of the dishes were OK too, the only downfall being that they did not have some sort of air-conditining on the semi-terrace. It was a very hot day and a fan in the corner of the terrace could not make the job.
