Contribuiți la feedbackAmazing roast carvery! Everything was hot, tasty, and cooked perfectly. The vegetables were not overcooked at all. The service was top-notch and the atmosphere was lovely. A three-course meal for only £18.99 with no service fee. They have a great selection of starters and desserts as well.
We went as a family to celebrate my grandson's birthday and try out the new Meze menu at the restaurant. The food was delicious and there was plenty of it, with a variety of different plates being served continuously. We enjoyed a variety of dips, a seafood platter, a meat platter, and a Greek salad. We all left feeling very full. The ambiance was enhanced by a Greek singer performing traditional music, making us feel like we were back on vacation in Greece. The bill was reasonable and we plan to return in the future. Overall, it was definitely worth a visit!
I had another fantastic carvery meal at a reasonable price. The beef was tender, there was a great selection of vegetables, and everything was cooked perfectly. There were also good options for starters and desserts, but I always go for the garlic mushrooms and either baklavas or the delicious cheesecake. You can't go wrong with dining here!
We had been frequent visitors at the Highland Restaurant,in Broxbourne so my friend and I thought we would try out the newly named Meze Restaurant serving Greek/Greek Cypriot food, which is still run by Jimmy and his Mum. I chose Greek dips for starters and a half chicken with chips and salad main course. I loved each of the three dips with pitta bread. The half chicken was cooked to perfections with tasty chips . Next time I go, which will be very soon!, I will be more adventurous as the traditional Greek/Cypriot dishes I saw being delivered looked mouthwatering. I can't wait to try them out!
My partner and I chose to go here for dinner after reading some good reviews. We were so disappointed. We asked for a drinks menu and the waiter asked, ‘what do you need that for?’ The ‘mezzo’ was 5 olives, 2 slices of melon and a few slices of dry carrot. Our main meal was steak…no seasoning and no flavour. The chips were dry and unpresentable. We asked for ketchup which we couldn’t put on the plate ourselves. The waiter just plonked a few teaspoons on our plate and walked away. This is definitely not Miller and Carter or Flat Iron and not worth £73. Signed… Secret Food Reviewer.
