Main Street Deli - Brownsville

Amazing food, service and atmosphere! The poblano cornbread was to die for, like Chile relleno, meets tamal, meets refined-flavor from a Condesa joint in CDMX! We also had the chicken-salad croissant, tomato soup and home-made chips on the side. It was excellent: warm buttery croissant and a perfectly balanced chicken salad with chopped grapes. The portions are very generous too. We sat outside in the afternoon and it was very enjoyable. 10/10 would recommend!

Fresh food the vegetables are cooked to perfection. I?ve had the Poblano Chicken and the Marsala Chicken. The Marsala was delicious but I do wish it was a teensy less salty, but it still has great flavour! ???????????? service is friendly and the restaurant is very clean!

Clean; excellent food; great lunch menu; delicious crepes; sándwiches; salads; desserts; nice downtown location; plenty of indoor seating; outdoor seating too; places like this will help bring back Brownsville!

Dined in, very clean place. food is ok, little pricie for what you get. The Cuban sandwich was very disappointed tasted more like a pork sandwich I was so hyped up and looking to have a hot pressed Cuban sandwich off of grill with melted cheese I barely could find any cheese on this thing, it was dry I had no mustard. and the bread tasted more like a roll from the local grocery store, a deli sandwich roll instead of French bread /Cuban bread. My wife patty melt Burger was just on toasted , not a grilled patty melt grilled. Patty melts are grilled in my opinion. this was my third time coming here and last. I was hoping that it would get better as it goes along,, it's not.????

Excellent restaurant in downtown Brownsville. Speedy service, high quality food and great service. Parking can be hard to come by but a one or two block walk is definitely worth it. Philly Cheese Steak Sandwich and Poblano Pasta are great choices accompanied by Bill?s World Famous Lemonade.
