Lotus Cafe - Brownsville

Food is good. Small place but good food. I recommend it. They have advance order and pick up via drive thru.

This restaurant used to be great. Today, I ordered sweet and sour chicken and received a small portion without the usual egg roll. The orange chicken was tasteless and made with dark meat. The lo mein noodles were like spaghetti with some sauce. This used to be my favorite place, but I will not be spending my money here anymore.

The orange chicken tasted like soy sauce and had a strong cleaning smell that overpowered any other food aromas. I couldn't finish my meal because it was too salty. Despite being affordable, the restaurant should not claim to serve authentic Chinese cuisine.

I have been getting food from this restaurant for years. The taste is always excellent and the food is consistently fresh! The dishes are very flavorful, well-seasoned, and cooked to perfection.

Excellent to be with family is recommended.
