Deep South Family Bbq - Brooksville

We just left Deep South Family BBQ, and the food was excellent. I was pleasantly surprised that everything came out in a timely manner, especially for a small restaurant, and everything was hot, not cold. This is the first time we visited in Florida. The baked green tomatoes were perfect, the ribs were tender, the sides were homemade, and the fried peach cake was fantastic. We’ll definitely be coming back!

The BBQ lived up to the hype. Many people have been talking about it, and it's clear why—it's quite good. However, I had to give it 3 stars because it took 45 minutes for my food to arrive, even though there were only a few customers in the restaurant. They also seemed to be waiting a long time. If the service had been quicker, I would have likely given it 5 stars, as the place really offers a unique experience, especially on a beautiful day.

I live in Virginia and visited a friend who took me out for dinner. I have to say, the brisket was incredible, and the BBQ was the best I've ever had! The staff was very friendly too. I wish I lived here so I could enjoy this all the time!

Eating is phenomenal and the staff is just as great! such art workers large parts. the rib dinner was sooo good! can not wait to go back!

One of the best bbq places in the area. The ribs were just right meaty and flavorful, the brisket was good and not dried out, the chicken had a good level of smoke, The fried green tomatoes were to die for. The staff was friendly. All in all a great experience.
