Don’t claim you’re “hiring” if you’re just gonna turn down anyone who actually fills in an application

Went to Wawa this morning and they were pretty much completely out of coffee and food at 6:30 in the morningthe coffee that was labeled “regular” actually ended up being or I should say tasting like stale old chocolate all while the employees were standing around talking/laughing behind the counter. Coffee area was very unkept with creamer/milk and sugar all over the counters etc.

I was not able to place an online order with my app so I called the store. A very kind lady named Nicole answered and went directly to the kiosk to place my order. I am disabled and appreciated the help. This is not the first time this lady has helped me her kindness is consistent. I hope she is recognized for her professional demeanor and empathy.

Their hot foods are always good. My favorite is the waffle breakfast sandwich. Seriously, it puts McDonalds Hotcake sandwich to shame! Large variety of coffees to choose from and lots of other foodstuff and stuff. The store is always clean, and usually the staff is friendly and helpful.

The name Wawa is a Native American word for the Canada Goose that could be found in the Delaware Valley over 100 years ago. That 's why there is a goose on their logo! The Wawa, Inc., company began in 1803 as an IRON FOUNDRY in New Jersey! In 1902, owner George Wood began dairy farming and opened a milk processing plant in Wawa, Pennsylvania! The first Wawa Food Market opened in 1964, as an outlet for dairy products. The Wawa corporate headquarters are located in Wawa, Pennsylvania, which is a rural pocket of land situated near Philadelphia. And know you know the rest of the story! I love what Wawa has done to raise the bar, with beautiful stores that are bright, clean and appealing. NOT to mention they offer pretty darn good food, dessert and drink options. A far cry from the packaged 'who knows when it was made ' sandwiches and fountain drinks offered by 'other ' stores! Gassing up outside, I get a chance to look around the property. Plenty of maneuvering space for large vehicles like my F-250. Even the covered gas pump island is architecturally pleasing. Well done Wawa! I love Wawa! I 'd say they 've cooked the competitions ' goose!
