Contribuiți la feedbackCame to Nimbooda for lunch during a week's day, as it is walking to the Brooklyn Museum. There was no other in the restaurant except my friend and me, so we sat immediately and with such attentive and friendly service. We ordered the cheese naan, Shrimp Curry, Goan Salmon and Coconut Rice, which were all savory and very well cooked. There is also WiFi.
Nimbooda was an unexpectedly good Indian place. We came without expectations, except for those who generally like Indian food. My lamb biryani was well prepared, the lamb tender, and the pimple came without asking. My companion had lambroganjosh with whom she was happy. And in general, if she's happy, then I'm happy. So there.
Wonderful Indian food perfectly prepared nice people would go back again.
This restaurant in Brooklyn and the surrounding area serves the best Indian food. The dishes are always tasty and made with fresh ingredients. The staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating. Whether you want to dine in, order for delivery, or get takeout, this place has you covered!
Nimbooda Indian Cuisine makes vegetarian dishes that are so delicious, you may forget meat exists. This week I tried the Saag Paneer Lunch. The lunch included a generous amount of rice plus Dal Makhani (Black Lentil and Kidney Beans). The Dal was one of the best Ive ever had, ten stars ! Full of flavor and spices but not overly spicy or salty. Perfect. The Saag was also good, nice texture and not too oily. The garlic naan was fine, as expected. I wish that restaurants would post nutritional values because I felt good after eating the food from here. I've read that Dal is one of the healthier foods to eat it contains protein, fiber, and vitamins B6, and folate. Foods (especially some curries) can be very high in saturated fat. For that reason, I try to order Dal. It's rare to find a restaurant that has really great Dal. I was very impressed by Nimbooda's Dal uniquely delicious. Will definitely be returning for more.
