Cachapas - Brooklyn

Very good food, tastes just like home if you?re Venezuelan and if you?re new, a very delicious menu with plenty to choose from. If you have any questions the staff does a great job explaining and checks up on you to help. The green sauce (salsa de ajo) goes great on everything!

The food is incredible! Everything is fresh and put together perfectly, the flavors and the sauces are insane. We had a chicken Cachapa, a Venezuelan cheese burger aka Maracucha, and a steak Patacon. We also had their specialty drinks- one was a lime and sugar cane drink like a sweet tea, the other was a rice milk with cinnamon drink which you need to try as well. And then we took home chicken and beef empanadas so we could relive the taste again tomorrow! Lol Don?t sleep on

I think it goes without saying that Cachapas Brooklyn rocks at its namesake cachapas (and of course the Venezuelan standards burgers, taquenos, patacones, arepas stuffed to the brim). But this place?s Yoyos (a overstuffed sandwich such that the bread is replaced by soft, extra ripe plantains) allows it to stand out at an extraordinary level of culinary prowess. Their cachapas were mouth watering good!! Must get the Venezuelan cheese as an add-on.

Great people and amazing food. Best food I?ve had in a very lone time! Came from the Bronx and I?ll do it again! Just watching them make the food makes your jaw drop and want to buy everything!
