The Six Sixteen - Brook Highland

The atmosphere here has a very cool vibe. I had the Angus burger. It was very good. Fries were also very good. My wife had the wedge salad and chicken wings. She very much enjoyed both of her choices.

Why isn 't everybody at 6 Sixteen? First of all, I come to B 'Ham about once per month and due to my work location I always stay at the Tut. At first I avoided this hotel restaurant but once I came here the first time, i always come back! The service, is amazing..family owned, service is INCREDIBLE. So friendly, kind...Leonard, Olivia and Marcus, all family, bartenders. And the food is great. Love, love love the burger and chacuteries. Travelers you can sit at the bar, interact with other people or drink/eat in peace. I just love this family place so much and you will too!!

Nachos were good. But the Shrimp and Grits was awesome!!

The Six Sixteen is in the historic Tutwiler Hotel in downtown Birmingham. It's a comfortable, pretty bar but has a fairly limited cocktail menu. It's close enough to DJD Theater to stop in for a drink and a bite to eat before the show and then walk to the venue.

The food and drinks are amazing! The atmosphere is very modern, relaxing and romantic. The owners are very friendly and inviting. The staff is very committed to providing the best experience possible. In addition, I met an amazing artist from South Africa and had a great conversation. If you’re seeking great food, drinks and conversation, this is the place for you. The Sidecar was my favorite cocktail and the grilled pork chop dinner was delicious. By far the best food/bar experience I’ve had thus far! Please support this business, you won’t regret it.
