Zaro's Family Bakery - BRONX

If I am in the area, I always make sure to stop by this place for a delicious roasted sesame bagel with butter. I am not sure what type of dough, butter, or toaster they use, but it always turns out just right. If I can afford it, I like to treat my kids to some cupcakes as well. Luckily, they have a good bakery in the Bronx.

I really enjoy the freshly baked bagels and croissants at this restaurant. The desserts are a bit too sweet for my taste, but I'm sure those who love sugar will appreciate them.

I absolutely adore their sourdough loaves and scones! They are incredibly flaky and delicious. Despite its small size, this place always offers a great selection of bagels, breakfast pastries, and cakes. If you're in the mood for a scone, this is the place to visit.

The service was satisfactory. The atmosphere was relaxed. However, the latte, despite being reasonably priced, tasted like the espresso beans were over-roasted and too bitter. The milk was not frothed correctly, as the milk frother appeared to have never been cleaned. They use an automatic espresso machine instead of a proper one. I would not recommend this place. The only coffee shop I enjoy is The Way Cafe, even though it has a slight odor, not necessarily bad, but they could use a better ventilation system in the kitchen.

These cannolis were the worst I have ever tasted. They had a plastic or cleaning product flavor. I would recommend avoiding them.
