John Joe's Pizzeria And - BRONX

I've been a customer of John Joe's Pizza for nine years, but I've recently noticed some concerning hygiene issues. Yesterday, I ordered a small pizza, and while I was waiting, I saw that the same person making the dough was also handling the cash. For 20 minutes, I watched him switch between touching money and then going back to the dough, which I found really off-putting. It's disappointing to see this kind of practice, especially since this isn’t the first time I’ve raised concerns about hygiene there. In the past, I complained about another employee who had similar issues.

The delivery was extremely slow. I placed an order for a pizza at 12 PM, and it wasn't until 1 PM that I finally received it. When I called to inquire about the delay, I was met with a rude response. I live right across the street, so the delivery shouldn't have been a challenge. Waiting an hour for delivery is unacceptable. Additionally, the pizza was cut into 7 slices instead of the expected 8, and the crust was both raw and dry. Overall, it was a disappointing experience. On a positive note, the garlic knots were delicious!

The New York-style pizza is consistently excellent, and the garlic knots are fantastic. Just make sure to request marinara sauce on the side!

This used to be my favorite spot back in the day I placed an order last night and was disappointed, both slices had barely any sauce . I ask for the slices well done they gave me the garlic knots and Zeppoli?s well done as well . Like they heat everything up at the same time . I asked for garlic knots with cheese and sauce , my garlic knots were hard the cheese was hard I was struggling trying to take them off the container until I gave up . There was also no sauce on

Sicilian pie -half olive tasted ok (could have been cooked longer) /chocolate cake was ok Whoever delivered it should be more careful Maybe try walk-in
