Joe's Pizza - BRONX

Prices have gone up. Two white slices paid in cash were 6 dollars each.

Too Expensive, Manager/Owner is rude and entitled. Much better pizza just a block away. Quality used to mean something at this once great pizzeria, As a fellow food industry worker, attitude and atmosphere needs to change.

We ordered a sausage parmesan dinner with penne and garlic knots. Pretty much the only thing they got right were the knots. What we got was sausage and peppers with no cheese whatsoever and the pasta in a separate container. We brought it back to be corrected and all they did was put cheese on top instead of starting from scratch (no peppers). Sticking to Mangia going forward.

The dough to sauce to cheese ratio is on point. No flop and not overly oily. Definitely a contender for our top favorite pizzerias. The staff is always friendly and attentive. Been coming here for over 20 years. Eating a slice as I write this review. They happen to use one of my favorite tomato sauces Sassone brand.Kid friendliness: They cut the pizza into little pieces for the little ones.

Lousy pizza with even lousier service. Prepare to wait an excessive amount of time for lackluster food that will probably be lukewarm, at best.This place looks like somebody’s memory of what a neighborhood pizzeria should be, but the memory is fading.
