The Red Lion - Broad Channel

Nice bar with a wide variety of drinks. Loud with the bands and patrons but the music is generally pretty good. Average food, fun hang out.

Expect to pay extra tip: I was quite upset to see afterwards in my bank account that the waiter charged himself a 25 tip on my debit card without any authorization on my part (didn't sign off on it), on top of the 20 tip given to him with cash. I would advise to look elsewhere in NY to find a more honest bar.

Hands down my favorite place with life music! The prices are pretty low for that area and the artists are amazing! My favorite food item was the burger with an egg, I’ll definitely get one again when I’m back!

The atmosphere is really good! Love the live music in store!

The worst thing I can say about it is it's very crowded. Feel good bar with actually good food and a very cool wait staff and live music! Don't forget to tip the musicians!
