Sushi Ishikawa - Broad Channel

Ishikawa is a remarkable Omakase sushi restaurant. It’s a small place with about 12 seats. The 17 course meal paired with 5 sake tasting is unlike any I’ve ever had. Creative and beautiful sushi made with the finest ingredients. Stunning experience!

Loved!!! Fish was incredibly fresh. The creations were very tasty and inspired. It was like eating yummy art. Service was all around top notch knowledgeable, engaging and patient. A professional friend of mine had mentioned it and my cousin had also been before. It was my first omakase experience so I walked in not really knowing what to expect.This place would not be good for people who say they like sushi but only eat tempura, who must know the menu in advance, picky eaters (although I 'm particular but you go in with an adjusted mindset. I tend to watch carbs for insulin response and there is a lot of rice but it was one night), multiple food allergies/intolerances/preferences (although I strongly feel they 'd probably try to accommodate you but it 's kind of jerk behavior at that point), not open to trying something new or different, are loud and/or boisterous (this is a small, intimate setting with limited seating and a low key vibe), think that portion size an indicator of how good a place or meal is, and last but certainly not least, not for people who give off broke b energy. If you are none of these things, you will love it, too. It 's relaxed, chill, super yummy, but let 's be honest, also a little on the pricier side, deservedly so.I 'm a known fancy so this ended up being right up my alley, and I was quite full near the end. I wish I could have eaten more but overall was such a delicious vibe. I would definitely go again. Plan to take my sister who I know will also appreciate it when she comes to town.

Been to Sushi Ishikawa a few times and it’s my favorite in the city so far. The omakase is very delicious and leaves you wanting to come back again.

Everything we had tasted amazing. Our server was also super friendly and nice. The only thing is that the outside is a bit sketchy and hard to find. It was also a bit awkward at times since our chef hardly spoke and was very quiet when announcing the dishes. Would go back!
