Mekelburg's - Broad Channel

We ordered the Big Mek and a passion fruit margarita, and everything was absolutely delicious. I must give a special shoutout to our server, David, who was not only attentive but also hilarious. When I requested BBQ sauce, he brought us a brand new bottle from the deli side, which I ended up loving so much that I decided to buy it. I will definitely be returning here next time I'm in the area!

The lentil soup and whitefish on toast were really good. The whitefish on toast was particularly flavorful, reminiscent of a delicious bagel with lox. However, the lentil soup was a bit bland and could have used some salt.

A waitress informed us that the restrooms are exclusively for diners, and suggested that we could use the bathrooms at “Domino Park.” Incredible! The way she communicated this reflects the overall customer service at the establishment. I wouldn’t consider purchasing a drink or dining there at all!

Although the sandwich is quite pricey, they skimp on the cheese whiz. While there is a generous portion of meat, it was a bit dry, and a little more cheese whiz would have improved it.

The flavors at this restaurant blend together beautifully. I absolutely love it here, and I highly recommend trying the entire menu!
