Bxl Cafe - Broad Channel

This bar/cafe located opposite the Stephen Sondheim theatre is quite popular. The food was decent and the service was good. However, once it got crowded around 6pm, it became so noisy that it was difficult to have a conversation. It was too loud for my liking.

The service was friendly and the food was decent, but unfortunately they mistakenly gave me another person's bill with someone else's credit card, which was not ideal. The restaurant was busy and a bit pricey, but this was expected being in the theater district. The bar area was crowded, making it difficult to move in and out to the dining area.

The service at this restaurant was very polite and fast. We went for brunch and the food was fantastic. We tried the warm goat cheese salad, Thai seasoned mussels, steak frites, and breakfast omelettes. The Prosecco was also delicious!

Mussels were great. Shrimp croquette was mushy and tasteless. Excellent selection of drinks. Friendly staff. It can feel crowded.

I have been going to BXL Cafe for many years. It never changes thankfully!
