Birch Kitchen - BRISTOW

Excellent dinner on Saturday night. noise level was good, especially because we dined early...6:00pm a little expensive, but eating was very good. had to ask for brot and butter and glad that we did as it was warm and easy added to the meal experience

This was the second time we've been to Birch and they did not disappoint. The food and service was outstanding! They are getting ready to change over the menu, so we will definitely be back to try out the new offerings.

Decided to try out Birch last Friday night and was not disappointed. Great service, great food, wine and atmosphere. My chicken was cooked perfectly and the stuffed mushrooms were fantastic. Highly recommend giving them a try!

We visited this restaurant with a group of friends (we were a group of six people). We were seated promptly. The decor and interior design had a contemporary rustic feel to it, and the crowd seemed to be enjoying the food and conversation. The service was very down to earth in fact, maybe a tad too much...The server was jovial but slightly unhinged, he did not have much to say to describe the dishes, and removed glasses without asking if done. We did appreciate some of his casual banter, to distract us from how long the food was taking to arrive...although we had shared a bread plate not exactly substantial we asked from some more after 45 minutes had passed. The host who had been helping out advised us that the food would be right out, and no bread was needed. Pre empting a request for bread is a little out of tune to me especially when the food took yet another 20 minutes to arrive. The food, once delivered, was nothing to write home about. The seasoning and preparation were neither interesting nor did they remind of old world home cooking.

A friend and I dined at Birch recently for the first time. We were pleased with the experience. The food was good (pasta with chicken and pulled chicken sandwich). The menu is not large but is varied to appeal to a variety of tastes. We arrived for an early dinner and were initially the only ones but several tables were in use by the time we left. Service was good, maybe even a bit too attentive. Serving staff was friendly and eager and readily answered our questions. I will return and recommend Birch to others.
