Yumm Eats - Brenham

So disappointed today with the service. My husband I have eaten at Yumm's for years. Our favorites on their menu are the hamburgers. The lady that waited on us today is not a new employee. She is a little older than the others that have taken our orders on previous visits. The woman taking orders today can be curt rude. (I've heard complaints about her rudeness from friends that eat there when she is working there. Today we ordered our usual hamburgers. While my husband is soft spoken I know she understood his order as she repeated it back to him. However, when he received his burger it was not what he ordered. When we asked about it, she got offensive. She basically said that what he ordered is what he got. Though the wrong burger was returned to the kitchen what my husband had ordered made brought to him, there was NEVER an apology for the wrong hamburger. Our burgers tasted great, but customer service from this particular employee could definitely be improved.

My husband and I are regular patrons of Yumms, and we eat there at least once a week! We have Never had a bad experience there!! The food is always tasty! They offer a wide variety of choices, so we never get tired of going there! The servers are always very nice and friendly and efficient!! They have desserts that are very yummy, and the owner makes them each day!! Give it a try, and you'll never be sorry!!

We have just moved to Brenham, and eaten here several times. The staff is always friendly. There are plenty of tables, and the pizza is amazing! I also love the crunchy chicken wrap. Our kids like going to the sweets side of the store for ice cream for dessert. They also have a nice little coffee bar on the sweet side. Service is always great. And the decor is really nice, bathrooms clean.

We were talking our children somewhere different for Spring Break so we went on a tour to the Blue Bell Creamery and wanted to take the children somewhere fun to eat at afterwards. Needless to say we were very disappointed. The lady at the counter was very ride and making faces at me while I was asking about the menu, so much for hospitality. I am a restaurant manager and I would be very disappointed in my staff and would not tolerate trading a guest in such a disrespectful manner. Once we got our wings, the order was backwards. We ordered eight hot and spicy and fourteen mild, but got fourteen hot and spicy and eight mild. The young lady that brought them out readily offered the excuse that there was a new cook and sorry. Wow, just a little advice never make excuses, just fix the issue. We will never go back. The food was less than par and the service was very lacking!!!!

Need to learn how to make milkshakes!!!
