Peter Havens - Brattleboro

We had a fantastic night at Peter Havens. It was my fiancee's birthday dinner and the food was phenomenal. She ordered the smoked beef ribs, and I ordered the ahi tuna appetizer and the duck.

Waited over a hour to get our food. It was the day before the eclipse and they were busy. Just a bit of communication would have been nice.

Now I’m no critic but that was the best damn meal I’ve ever had. I’ll forever be longing for something to taste as good as the duck and those truffle mashed potato’s. Paired with a good wine, oh boy let me tell you. Service was great, all the ladies working were so nice and personal. I got take out but the atmosphere inside seemed very nice. Keep up the good work:

My immediate family and I went out to Peter Havens for a birthday dinner. We got the duck, swordfish, and filet of beef dinners along with a side of mushroom risotto. We all thoroughly enjoyed our meals. The temperatures and portions of the proteins were good and the sides were tasty. It's expensive, yes, but the quality matches the price. If they'd offered, I would've ordered a 2nd dinner!

Excellent! So far my favorite restaurant in Brattleboro. Beyond the good food the service was impeccable, good environment, nice public, calm, sophisticated, good for a date or dinner w the fam. Ps.: make a reservation!
