DO NOT EAT HERE We only went here because it was recommended but, we quickly wished that we hadn't. The food was over cooked and didn't taste good. My husband just stopped eating it was so bad. I ate more than I should have to be polite. My father wouldn't even eat the mashed potatoes and, mashed potatoes are his favorite. The waitress kept forgetting things. She kept stopping to talk with people for a long time which would have been fine if we weren't trying to ask for things. One time in particular she was supposed to be making a drink for my husband and, while standing behind the bar just stood (not making the drink) there talking to the people at the bar for 10 minutes. Then when we went to pay, she had the hand held type of card reader, she stood over my husband he felt forced to give her a better tip than she deserved. The bill was around $150 for food that we didn't eat. Then about an hour after we left I was stuck on the toilet being evacuated from both ends! We couldn't even feed the leftovers to our dogs for fear that it would make them sick. DO NOT EAT HERE

We ate at Dockside on our last night of a 4 day stay. We had the gator bites and Smokehouse Pasta. This was our best meal, by far! Affordable and delicious! Service was friendly and quick.Oh, and a robot that brought our food was a fun touch.Definitely give this place a try, you won't be disappointed!

I don't know anything about an ambulance at dockside, but one thing that I do know is that Kurt's steaks namely the ribeye blows the others out of the water, I just came back from a cruise and the food just did not suffice. The beer-battered fish was not comparable to the one at SS Dockside at all, same with the steaks. And I promise you that if you were sitting right there next to me eating the same food you would wholeheartedly agree. So come by and get some really high quality food at a really really great price. It's really tough to beat. I dare you to look around town, I have no doubt you will agree with me. If you love God, SS Dockside has the music. If you love great quality food, Dockside has the taste. You find me a place where you can get a full rack of bbq pork ribs a piece of corn baked beans AND two free clusters of crablegs for under 40 bucks. Get outta town! No I mean, you will literally have to cuz you can't find deals that good practically anywhere!!! I've looked!Vegetarian options: Lots of veg options for the veggies folks. From classic French fries to onion rings salads mashed potatoes with no gravy, there's lots of sides that you can order like salad for example with no cheese if you're an absolute vegetarian. Nachos with no meat are good if you still enjoy cheese, chips and queso, an appetizer sized onion rings called lifesavers, so good and delicious. Some items to steer away from if you're a vegetarian, the green beans are made with pieces of bacon the potato salad has bacon, the crab dip and stuffed mushrooms also contain meat. But if you come in as a vegetarian, be sure to order some dessert to get your feel! Highly recommend the apple cobbler it comes out in a hot Skillet with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top! I always get that after playing golf, the key lime pie is also phenomenal and is a personal favorite. If you're okay with eating cheese, the New York style cheesecake with chocolate caramel and nuts called turtle cheesecake is an absolute treat. When I used to be a vegetarian I found that having dessert after my appetizer and meal kind of helped fill me up since I wasn't getting that protein.Dietary restrictions: The restaurant does its best to offer Gluten Sensitive options! They understand that there are several diseases that people have that are in a gradient fashion, meaning that some people are so severely allergic that they could die while others only feel a mild discomfort sometimes. If you let the server know, the server will inform you about the Gluten Sensitive options that they offer. While the Gluten Sensitive shrimp is fried in the same oil as things that contain gluten, for the more allergic folks i would highly recommend some grilled shrimp, made in its own pan to prevent cross-contamination. You can't go wrong with the salad as a side with no croutons. The mixed veggies are SO GOOD and I normally hate veggies!!!! (my mother would be proud) and are also non gluten. They offer an array of meats and fish that do not contain gluten so there is something for everyone.

Music could be a bit louder. The ambulance could really help the restaurant. The girl writing by herself was super friendly attentive and courteous. Needs better music to help with ambiance.

Came here a week ago and still thinking about the ribs ! Some of the best ribs I’ve ever had ! Kurt was an outstanding server . All of his recommendations were spot on . Thanks for the excellent service . I grew up in Sgf and have recommended this restaurant to all of my family since my visit ! Can’t wait to stop in again .
