I have never had anything but great experiences with Ben and staff. friendly service, and nothing short of the best meals ever experienced. It’s sad to see people give 1 star based on a single visit. People who don’t want your typical chain restaurant cookie cutter menus will thoroughly enjoy the experience to be had at Benny’s

This restaurant was not busy on a Friday evening. Our male server was excellent and really knows his stuff! We had high hopes for this place based on reviews and like to support local rather than franchises, so I’m sorry to say that our meals fell flat. The French onion soup looked appealing but the broth was overpowering and the cheese was so thick and excessive that it wadded up in the bottom of the bowls like a huge wad of gum making it very difficult to eat. The steak sandwich was far too thick of a piece of steak and was tough and hard to cut. The chicken fingers were over cooked and tough. And the Cobb salad was tasteless and dull. It was missing some ingredients to give it some “zing”. The cocktails were good and like I said the service was wonderful. I’m very sorry to have to give this rating based on the food.

Yummy! Shrimp cooked beautifully! Tasty tomato bisque soup with garlic toast! And a fresh spinach salad! Service and food always good.

Had a supper date with a good friend. Ordered the pasta special with sun dried tomatoes and a cream sauce so tasty! Can't wait to go back.

I have never been here before and met a friend there. The staff were very friendly. I had the bacon wrapped scallops and the steak and shrimp special. The steak was thin but cooked perfectly. It had some grisly parts but all and all it was a good meal.
