The Chippery Fish Chips - Branchburg

If you were a fan of the original 'Chippery' in Westfield (NJ), you will love ABSOLUTELY this place! I say that because it is the same recipes and taste. To date, I never had fish 'n' chips where you actually get french fried chips instead of just simple french fried chips. The fish is very tasty, the dough is light and crispy, but the best part is a roasted French chip immersed in their homemade cake sauce!

Omg the food here is AMAZING, I can't wait to go back!!! I can't believe how fresh the fish is, the chicken wings are ingenious, and the Jalapeno Poppers are different from all I've ever had, totally increases the bar!!! In any case back, and very soon!! Also the place was super clean and does not smell like fish, very impressive!!

As English, I was discouraged by my inability to find a real good fish'n chips in Somerset County...until now. The fish was fantastic. The perfect amount of dough and extremely fresh. My whole family brought their meals. The chips are also delicious. Perhaps the best part was the phenomenal sauces from which they must choose. It is fun to experiment with them all and they are all great. Very friendly and accommodating staff also. The price is also correct. The only drawback is the eating zone is quite small. I will definitely be regular there.

Awesome food is not healthy, but if your one seafood person and want to treat you can not go wrong the sauces are all made in the house and absolutely amazing the only complaint is when you sit and eat it is super with just a few spots to sit it is more of a meeting place or delivery

I've had fish and chips around the world, including at expert restaurants in Ireland and the UK, where the dish comes from. The Chippery, hands down, serves some of the best that I have ever had. I ordered the ShrimpNation (fish, shrimp, and chips) and my wife ordered the Shrimp Basket. The fish was hot, crispy, and had just the right amount of batter so as not to overpower the deliciousness of the fish. The shrimp was large and fresh. The seasoning on the chips was exceptional, as were the house-made tartar sauces! Service was fairly quick, given that they make everything to order, and very friendly. We didn't order to go or for delivery, but it looks like they do that as well. All around, this was an excellent experience, and I am so glad that they are nearby because I am already craving it again. Hats off to The Chippery!
