Cak-T - Bourges

This is a wonderful place to stop and charge the batteries after visiting the cathedrale and to foot bourges. the offered tees are many and well presented, and the walnut cake delicious, served with crème anglaise. it is a quirky place, with old fashion games on the table and tapisseria on the wall, all made by the owner in the last 40 years. it's very charming. I could not believe when the owner had lost my handy, replied and offered to bring it where we were from work on the way to home. I can't tell them how grateful I was. many thanks for you thé!

Very cozy place in a beautiful location, a beautiful back road right next to the cathedrale. the desserts were excellent, a very complete tee catalog. Too bad they can't all try! I would recommend this place definitiw, and would guess at least. to spend an hour.

When we first went to cak t, we arrived when it was about 15 o'clock. when we went after cak t, (at 2 o'clock) we said that there is nothing more to eat, finally, today, the third time that we went after cak t (at 1:30 o'clock) we...who again said there is nothing to eat. we said the person who welcomed us that we were just trying to drink tea. she seemed overwhelmed, and we learned why. she and her alone, makes everything cook, serve and works the cash. I ordered the Corene tea, which was a pot of hot water, with a small portion of orange marble on the side. I was told that the jam is mixed with the hot water to make the tee. it cost a little more than 5 euro for this exotic drink! the place is beautiful and cozy with only 5 6 tables, and high, arched, stone ceiling, the room is warm and comfortable. perhaps the desserts and the small dishes are good, but after 3 we will certainly not try again. there is another salon de the that I will try to get close to the hotel angelterre, which looks just as warm and welcoming.

The tee room is located in a small chapel, which is embedded in the old city walls of medieval bourges. they serve delicious desserts and have a good list of tees.

Lovely tea room run by an equally lovely lady. The place is set in a wonderful old vaulted room which is as almost as impressive as the cakes she makes and serves. A gem!
