Smashburger - Boulder

I visited this restaurant today (05/13/22) after ordering online. When I arrived, I had to wait for about 5 minutes while the person at the front made a shake. I felt like I was being ignored and it made me anxious, as I have a disorder that makes it difficult for me to be in crowded places. When I received my order, I found that the smashed avocado toast was overly oily, with oil pooling at the bottom of the container. Some of the avocado pieces were undercooked and there was a hair in my burger. I also noticed that the person making the shakes at the front was not wearing gloves and there were no hairnets or hats being worn by the staff in the kitchen. Additionally, there was a personal drink near the workspace, which had spilled into the hand washing sink. While these issues may seem minor to some, it is important for a restaurant to prioritize cleanliness and sanitation. Overall, I was disappointed with my experience and felt that the restaurant could improve on these aspects.

Dreadful personal and terrible eating! sadly smashburger brand is now not better than mcdonald’s

My family often goes there. last trip they were super busy, and when we screwed up our order, they rushed to fix so my daughter could eat with us and could not wait for the line. they have done good efforts and eating is always great.

Really over and over service today, and eating was so delicious

I ordered from Smashburger for the first time and did it though Uber eats. After 30 minutes (avg wait time) I received notification from Uber that the driver was on his way. 5 minutes later I get notification that my order was cancelled by the driver. I called these guys and they said they had no idea why the driver cancelled and that it was the 2nd time today that it happened. I’m not that far away and told them I would gladly come pick it up. When I got there the staff was super nice and apologetic. I pulled out my credit card to pay and they said it was on them, almost a $50 order. They just gained a new customer. The burgers were pretty darn good as well.
