Contribuiți la feedbackReally enjoyed the Cape Verde inspired food and the live music here. Despite a large private party going on in the restaurant, the service was above average and food came out of the kitchen in a timely manner. We had the linguica appetizer which was flavorful and slightly spicy, but quite tasty. My wife had the grilled steak tips and I had the franga churrasco (Cape Verde style grilled chicken). Both were very flavorful and delicious.
Food and ambience are great. The service can be slow so be sure to order your appetizer and entree as soon as you get in. The lunch buffet option is quick, savory and plentiful. Be sure to also go during dinner to enjoy the live musical performances which are both soulful and syncopated.
From my last time here to now , I got say they got 100x with how fast they make your food , I used to order 3-4 drinks begore my food arrives ...this time it was so fast I couldnt believe it ... I really appreciate it ... the food was good real good ...
The food is always great! The service was great. Our waitress suggested a great drink, the service was speedy and friendly!
This review aims to shed light with the hope of inspiring positive change among the owners. Despite being a supporter due to its status as a minority-owned establishment, I expect more than just that reason. The food quality varies, falling within the realm of average and nothing exceptional. Additionally, the extended waiting times are notable. A longstanding concern involves the scarce presence of hosts at the entrance. The furniture, tables, and bathroom necessitate an update, as their current condition is quite off-putting. While the staff members are remarkable, the issue of high turnover is evident. Consequently, the perpetual influx of new staff impacts service consistency due to frequent onboarding. I strongly believe that this business should prioritize enhancing its food offerings, customer hospitality, and overall ambiance. Given the absence of direct competitors, there appears to be a tendency to settle for the minimum effort. I believe they can do better and merely chooses to not listen to customer needs and wants.
