Kingsland Chinese Restaurant - Boronia

First time diners here but shall come back with more family. Banquet B for 2 under $40 a head amazing value. Attentive service by lady with wonderful sense of humour added fun. All courses delicious Chinese dishes and kept coming strong.

Ate at kingsland for the first time. The building itself is very old and so is the Decore inside. The food was delicious we had three entree two mains and mango and ice cream for dessert it was all perfect I couldn’t imagine anyone being disappointed with the food. The staff were really lovely. The price of the food was really reasonable and actually cheaper than some of the other Chinese restaurants in the area. I will definitely be coming back to eat at kingsland and would recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Went for an early dinner at this long established Chinese Restaurant in Boronia. I don't think the decor has changed in the last 20 to 30 years, but if you are looking for delicious Chinese food, this is the place. The staff were all very attentive and friendly. We had a young toddler with us and the staff were keen to play and chat with him, making the night even better. The menu has a good selection. We had chicken satay, dim sims, spring rolls, mongolian beef, garnished chicken supreme, mongolian beef and special fried rice. All very nice.

Attend this place if you like to be burnt by hot soup. On fathers day we attended this place for a nice meal. There were 3 couples and one baby. each couple ordered the same banquet. The soup came out and the waitress places a bowl of soup in front of the 1 year old. Being a 1 year old, he grabs the bowl and burns his fingers. He is hysterical for about 15 minutes before the parents leave for the hospital. The waitress did not once come over to offer any help, the manager never came out. The only help we received was from the young man working there, but even that was just before we left for the hospital. They basically ignored us. They are taking no responsibility for what happened, they even tried to charge the remaining party for all 6 banquets when we had informed them that 2 people had left and they acknowledged and said they would only keep the banquet for the remaining party. They charged them for 5 people, claiming they 'thought the dad was coming back to eat '. Then they told the remaining party to never come back. It 's a nice place until something happens, then they want nothing to do with you and kick you out. The 1 year olds burns took a week to heal on his fingers. His hand was red for a couple of days. Not sure yet if it will scar.

The staff at this restaurant are friendly and efficient. They offer unique dishes on their menu that you don't typically find in other Chinese restaurants, such as the Mandarin pork which has a subtle kick to it. The Cantonese beef was also flavorful with just the right amount of spice and served with a variety of vegetables. The waitress was very helpful and even boxed up our leftovers for us to enjoy later. To top it off, we were given an after dinner mint with our bill. If you're in Boronia, be sure to stop by and try their menu.
