Pleasant Home Saloon - Boring

We were here before COVID and the saloon looks so much better! We showed up on Saturday at 5:30. The parking lot was already packed. We found a table and a server came by immediately to take over our beverage order. The rest of our party came 15 minutes after we arrived there and once they sat down, our server got their drink order. Love this attention! A friend shaved over the French dip and onion rings. The French dip was bigger than I imagined. Yum! The onion rings were crispy and remained intact with every bite (the onion did not slip out of bread). The French Dip is listed only as a Wednesday lunch special; but our server said they can usually do it during the week. We also wrapped the Saturday dinner Special- Bacon Filet Mignon, baked potato, and Texas Toast and Bacon Cheeseburger. The burger was stacked and filled! The Filet Mignon was good, but not my favorite bite of the night. Overall, happy with the service and food. Would come back.

Great neighborhood bar! Strong drinks and cheap food... this place is a jewel! The owner is super friendly and a big cook..go say hello to Charlie whonis also a real jewel!

Big little landbar from the beaten path. Friendly staff who take care of you and the local girls are friendly and welcoming. I'm looking forward to my next visit.

The food quality , fast service , and friendly environment is top notch .The kitchen staff really takes pride in every meal they cook .I got French dip and added grilled onions The Special fry sauce was out of this world. It was so good ,I went back the next day and ordered same thing The Down to earth staff treat you like family and make you feel at home . My friend loved the bacon cheeseburger. And By the way it is humongous.The interior has been completely remodeled and kept very clean ,including the patio area. The Koi pond And Waterfall creates a relaxed environment. The out door heaters and covered area where a nice touch also.
