Au Bistrot - Bordeaux

This restaurant was recommended by friends and it did not disappoint. Located near the bordeaux market in a changing part of the city. We both had the pork with beautifully prepared vegetables and the soup...both excellent. Suggest that you sit at the bar and watch the action in the kitchen. It really is very good lunch experience

Just ate there tonight. Very friendly, very authentic and you CAN pay by card contrary to some earlier posts. If they weren't closed Monday and Tuesday we'd be back the like a shot!

Wonderful little old established Bistrot serving same menu for years. good old fashioned French fayre. I had tomato oil vinegar salad. G had creamy raw mushroom salad. Both opted for the rabbit. Beautifully presented on top of small whole veg all denté, nice gravy. All washed down with good value Bordeaux. Extensive wine list. Fruit crumble was too much crumble for us little fruit. Good value total bill €100 Euros. Definately recommend.

Jam packed… easily close to an hour’s wait for the food…which was pretty rushed and under seasoned. Full of locals or local tourists I guess because of their past reputation….

I was recommended to this address was a pleasant setting long since I had not eat a carpaccio so goodje highly recommend
