Mike's Inland Seafood - Boone

The coleslaw was mushy and lacked flavor. The hushpuppies and seafood all had a similar greasy taste, and everything felt outdated. It seems like they need to change their oil and use fresher fish. I won’t be spending my money there again.

Who would have thought! The seafood here is surprisingly excellent for being so far inland. The fried shrimp comes with a delicate breading and is absolutely delicious. The staff is welcoming and efficient. I'd rate the clam chowder an 8 out of 10. We're planning to come back this week with some friends.
