Contribuiți la feedbackWe stayed in this beautiful bistro thanks to the advice of a dear friend. and I must admit that we were really amazed by the friendliness of the staff of the room, not to mention the dishes. delicious and abundant. highly recommended!
We had a nice breakfast outside, delicious cream pasta. courteous staff and lay them. this winter we will try breakfast inside the beautiful place.
Looked a cosy and inviting place from the window of the side street. It was early evening and needed to warm up. Staff were very helpful and kind with the menu. Enjoyed a lovely tea and a selection of homemade tasty biscuits. Also nice mix of guests, thank you!
Good quality food and friendly staff in this family run restaurant. Simple dishes well prepared and seasoned . A great watering hole .
We’ve stopped by twice (so far) on our extended stay in Bologna and been delighted by the food and bowled over by the service. Although Bologna is known for its tortellini and omnipresent ragú, we needed a shift and Incucina provided that in so many ways. Admittedly we stumbled across the open door of the restaurant while perusing the gorgeous little high-end shops nearby and were tempted down this ancient street and into the restaurant by the art and the crisp, linen free tables and artfully sleek bar. And then there was the case of sweets; cakes and other treats perfectly aligned so of course a meal was in order to get to that delightful place where one can order dessert almost guilt free. And the meal did not disappoint. Far from it- ancient grain pastas, toothsome and hearty in portions that didn’t overwhelm and an achingly good grilled cod with fennel and orange. My husband dove into black rice laced with bottarga and a perfectly crisped St Peter’s fish with toasted potato. And of course we finished with the glorious pear-chocolate tart that tempted us to sit down first! Such a pleasant shift on tradition but not such a break that one can’t taste the heritage of the place. Marina, Adriana and Paola delighted us the second time by not only remembering us but also recalling our favorites. The menu had changed already and we were perusing new options when we decided to book again for a third meal. This trio are an awesome team, switching effortlessly between Italian and English, offering ideas and suggestions, making little stops to check in and offering great advice. Definitely worth a detour to escape the crowds on the piazza and take a break in this beautiful space and dwell in the window tables or bask in the afternoon sun alongside the ancient buildings.
