Although it was dead when we went, we still didn't get service or asked if we wanted more water. The food was okay. The hubby got the chicken Tikka Masala and said it was dry. He was very disappointed, because he loves Indian food.I got an okra dish, which I thought was good. It was a tolerable spice level. It's definitely not the best Indian food I've had, though. The Samosas and Mango Lassi were pretty good, but we're not eating here again just to get those.
The host was nice and place seemed clean. I picked up a to go order of Chicken Tika Masala. Should be their most popular dish and made fresh daily… the chicken was sooooo hard like it was left outside and dried and then put into sauce. I had to throw all of the chicken out and just eat the sauce over the rice.Unfortunately, I was very excited to try and will never come back. There are better places in town.
I agree with previous reviews, good garlic naan and small meat portions. My dish was flavorful however my lamb was beef. I eat a lot of lamb and know very well how it taste. Disappointing. You can usually judge a restaurant quality by the crowds.
We were staying at the hotel and noticed this place, we love Indian food and honestly had low expectations for a hotel joint. We were definitely wrong. The server Kay was delightful and personable and made some great recommendations. We especially liked their special curry chicken which had some Curry leaves I had not come across before but imparted a really great and unique flavor. The Samosa chaat was really interesting too. All for very reasonable prices. Would definitely visit again.
Excellent customer service. Get the Mango Lassi. It is the best drink in the world. There is also a pool table if you would like to play.
