Old Chicago Pizza Taproom - Boise

I placed my order over the phone after facing issues with the online ordering system. The young woman who took my call was incredibly friendly and helpful. Our food arrived in about 30 minutes, which was just what we expected. Everything was fresh and delicious; the Thai pizza was vibrant and loaded with fresh, crisp vegetables. The waffle fries were delightful and didn't go soggy, which is usually a concern. I ordered bone-in wings but received boneless instead; this might have been my mistake due to not being clear in my request. After reading previous reviews about order issues, I actually appreciated getting boneless wings this time, so it wasn't a problem at all. Overall, it was a great experience with tasty food. Despite some negative reviews I had read, I'm really glad I gave this place a try and was pleasantly surprised.

This is a great spot for a family outing to enjoy pizza, wings, and drinks. The seating arrangement was a bit odd, as the waiting area is positioned in the center of the restaurant. If we had been the first ones to arrive, it would have been unclear where to go since it felt like we were sitting in the middle of the place rather than in a designated waiting area. However, the service was exceptional, and the food was delicious. The restaurant’s vibe and decor felt a bit dated, but overall, we had a solid experience. If the atmosphere is friendly and the food is good, that's enough reason to return!

Very nice selection of beer on tap. Food was good, if very slow. Don't expect to be able to grab a quick bite, it will take about 30 to 40 minutes to get your food. But the bartender was very good as was the beer! Overall a nice respite while the wife continued shopping! ;

Waited a while to be seated, then waited quite another while to order. All in all, quite dissapointed it took them over 30 minutes to tell me they were out of their deep dish dough, so I got the Sicilian Rolls. Dissapointed that I waited over 30 minutes for these, they weren't worth it. Ginger was an amazing server, handling all those orders is quite the task. She deserves all the stars. Would come back but the waiting game isn't worth it. Went to Chik-Fil-A afterwards to fulfill the dissapointment.

Omg. What was in my ranch?!?!? Got a pizza and fries with ranch to go and was so disappointed and then grossed out. The fries were packed in a bag and then put in another bag, both of which were open. We are a three minute drive and they were soggy and cold. Then I was eating pizza and found this thing in my ranch. What even is there?!?! I’m so very grossed out. Edit to add: I did reach out to the email provided. Never heard back. Seems like the email is just a bandaid they slap on bad reviews to make it look like they are going to do something to make it right for everyone else reading. They didn’t.
