Goodwood Barbecue Company - Boise

This restaurant used to be fantastic, but that's no longer the case. I ordered a Bloody Mary for $20 and was served a drink that was only half the usual size. I also ordered chicken strips with fries and coleslaw, but I only received the chicken—no fries or coleslaw. The waiter kept apologizing, and when the manager came over, he didn't even remember what was on the menu. Now, you end up paying for lower quality food and drinks, and the service feels more like a circus than a dining experience. It’s truly not worth anyone's time or money.

Fantastic food! It's been a while since my husband and I dined there. To be honest, my previous experience wasn't very good in terms of the food. However, this recent visit definitely made up for it!

I went in to place a takeout order and ended up standing there for a long time waiting for help. Eventually the manager came to help me I believe because everyone else just walked past me and didn’t acknowledge I was there or ask someone to come help me. I ordered a half rack of ribs, a half pound of chicken, a quart of beans and corn, and two baked potatoes. It came out to $80. When I got home and checked the portions I was extremely disappointed! Tiny ribs that are supposed to feed 4-6 people but can barely feed one, chicken barely feeds 1 person, the baked potatoes were microscopic(like tiny fingerling potato size). The quarts of beans and corn were large but for $80 I am extremely dissatisfied with what I got. No way I’m coming here again, not with these terrible serving sizes. I don’t know how a rack of ribs could be a smaller.

Awesome experience here , all the food was cooked and plated perfectly. Drinks where great , awesome bartender i highly recommend this place for you’re go to bbq place . Manager was really friendly and staff also.
