Freddy's Frozen Custard Steakhouse

Freddie?s and I were both born in Kansas. I love the concept and think the food is always a notch or two above standard fast food. It?s made to order with quality ingredients. I wanted to share my experience today at the Freddie?s location in Boise. I had just gotten off a long plane ride from Atlanta and needed a late lunch. I pulled up to the drive thru and Austin introduced himself over the speaker with a voice that actually sounded like he wanted to be there. He took my order, read it back to me and greeted me at the window. Austin is one of those employees that make a brand. His soft skills?the ability to interact with courtesy and friendliness?were impeccable. I wanted to call his parents and tell them they should be proud of the son they raised. My food was fresh and tasty?but it was my brief interaction with Austin that made my visit to Freddie?s today memorable. I called the restaurant to talk to a manager and let Sarah (the manager answered the phone), who was also a superstar at customer service, know she had a winner on her team. Seems she already knew that, but she was glad to hear my feedback about Austin. ????????????????

Nice staff, good tasting food, but very dirty. Bathrooms were clean as we were the first to use them, but in the dining area and kitchen you could see grime everywhere you looked, and it smelled dirty. Will not be surprised if I get sick later.

I came here on a Sunday night and there were two girls working up front who were FANTASTIC. That said, it was clear they were understaffed. Huge drive thru line, restaurant was a disaster, and they were serving people with a smile. Frankly, shame on the franchise owner for this situation. A GOOD franchise owner would be there working side by side with them, or would make sure they have adequate staffing. Instead, they are burning these people out. My order was also wrong, but I don't fault the staff at all. They were doing what they could. Edit: no, I'm not going to fill out the form on your website. I literally just posted my experience here for you with the hopes you would provide a genuine response.

I absolutely found a new favorite fast food place today. This was delicious! ????The fries are better than McDonald's and I didn't think anybody had better fries than McDonald's, steakburger was awesome, and the frozen custard you can get all kinds of different stuff in, I got brownie chunks in mine, so good! Also the staff were super friendly, sweet even, and service was fast. Definitely recommend this place!! Loved the retro vibe too????

This is a pretty darn good place to eat. The burgers are great, the patties are different than your standard fast food burgers. Their fries are pretty good. I don't normally like shoestring fries, but they don't overcook them like a different unnamed California based burger joint that doesn't even deserve to be considered next to Freddy's.
