Summit Grill - Blue Summit

Came in today after work because I typically have amazing service. However, today was horrible. I sat at the bar as usual. The normal bartender (a black guy) wasn’t present. I sat between to white individuals in which the bartender and service asked them several times if they were ok and if they needed anything. Not once did they address me until I addressed them.First address: I ordered my drink and Spin Dip. The waitress brings ticket before food comes out.Second address: Hey can I order the cheeseburger sliders. No. Yes, No, Maybe so but the sliders came out.Still waiting on someone to check to see if I need anything as my drink and water was gone 10mins ago.

I went to lunch with a large group from our office today. The service was spectacular and my Fried Goat Cheese and Chicken salad was delicious ?

A very nice casual/business casual spot for classic American food. The food we ordered was taste and hot. My only complaint were the bartenders. After the meal we sat down at the bar for a few more drinks and were totally ignored until we flagged someone down. The bar was empty buy quickly filled up. Other guests were attended to much better than my party of 2. I'd say, find a better place to have a drink ?

I had the grilled Chicken sandwich today at lunch. It was very good. I would definitely recommend.

Awesome French Onion Soup, wonderful Pot Roast Nachos, terrific fries....but ghastly Reuben Sandwich.Despite the reputation, this isn't even close to the best Reuben in KC. The Corned Beef was very fatty and marginally flavorful. Supposedly house made 1000 island dressing was unexciting.A restaurant that does pot roast this good needs to either do their own corned beef, or get a better recipe. Same for the 1000 island dressing.
