The 3 Amigos - Bloomington

I ordered tamales and received shredded beef with no flavor inside the tamale dough. It was disappointing. Traditional tamales are usually made with ground meat and seasoned with Mexican spices. I'm uncertain about the other dishes, but I will not be returning. Thanks, but no thanks.

The Mexican-inspired dishes at this restaurant are average-tasting and come in generous portions. The standout item is the delicious guacamole.

I have to say this restaurant is the best in town. I believe they have changed their chef because the food is much better compared to last year. The dishes are incredibly flavorful!

The food was pretty good but the prices were too much. 3 tacos, beans and a coke ran me $23 before tip. I enjoyed my meal and the service was good but I won’t be coming back with those prices.

I'm always a Mexican FANATIC, and this place serves! It is extremely well priced, so for college students it is a great spot. The ambiance is so-so--the lights are too bright and it is a bit too quiet. It would be more fun to have some music blasting. But there is plenty of seating, and the servers are very kind. Bring a ton of friends and you'll have a great time.
