Lennie's - Bloomington

Great service at a very busy night, eating excellent as always.

We tried Lennie’s because it was rated as one of the top 5 restaurants in bloomington on open table. unbelievable, we went to a pizza joint and ordered pasta, which I cannot recommend. the seat service was great, but the server also had to cover the bar and therefore the service was sufficient but not good. there was nothing negative about the experience, but nothing valuable.

Great food! I love the foccacia bread and the frying garlic with it!

French onion soup was outstanding, as was the potato cabbage soup. Penne pasta delicious and yummy with fresh garlic flavor. Star of the meal was the side of roasted vegetables. Best veggies I’ve ever had at a restaurant. Perfectly cooked and seasoned. Sorry, no room for dessert, but know it would have been delicious! Quick and helpful service too.

It was okay. I know they were very busy, we were told that when we walked in. The service was very good, but the food was okay. We had the meatballs to start, definitely needed the sauce bc they were bland. The sauce was very good. The French onion soup was a big disappointment!!-that's what I was looking forward to the most I had the Reuben, which was as very good, and chips for my side...I'm sure they were from a big bag of Lays, definitely not made in the restaurant. It's not a place I would choose to go to again.
