Aver's Public House - Bloomington

Aver's is always good and they have the best beer selection in Bloomington. I just wish they made a true stromboli and not a sandwich on 2 slices of bread and call it a stromboli. Somehow Indiana thinks this is how you make a stromboli. Aver's should make it the way it should be or just call it an Italian sandwich.

Carry out order quoted at 15 minutes and we waited over an hour. Food all came out at different times so a lot of it was cold by time we got it home.

Pizza was probably the best I have had. Highly recommend the combo where you can try multiple. Service was great kitchen only messed up on the nachos 3 times. But once they came out, they were great. I'll be back when I come back to the area.

Menu selections were just what we needed to accomodate our diverse group of eaters: GF pizza, make your own pizza, sandwiches, pasta, salads. Craft beer selections were a nice surprise, too.

Four of us dined for dinner, we all had pizza and it was really good! The veggies sampler was delicious and for me the perfect amount of food. We did not order any appetizers but came in pretty hungry. The 12 pizzas were bigger than the sampler but also a good size for one. The service was good and pretty quick for a Saturday night.
