Aver's Pizza South Btown - Bloomington

Order we did not receive pizza that was for my shift. No phone e call or nothing. Very disa]ointed as I have ordered from here before and never had a problem.

One of the highlights for me was that reheating the pizza in the microwave didn’t affect its quality at all. Unlike most pizzas that either become too doughy or too hard when microwaved, Aver's pizza remained almost as delicious as when it was freshly made. The breadsticks were also a treat. They had a crispy exterior and a soft interior, and they were nicely salted, which I loved. There was plenty of cheese sauce to accompany all 12 sticks. Overall, the food was outstanding with generous portions, and I will definitely be coming back!

I ordered delivery with an estimated time of 35 minutes, but after 57 minutes, I called the restaurant and was informed that a driver had canceled at the last minute and that my order would be delivered in 10 minutes. Now, 15 minutes later, I still haven’t received my pizza, making it a total of 1 hour and 15 minutes since I placed the order. I understand that staffing issues can occur, but I think it's important to provide more realistic delivery times when customers inquire about their orders. On a positive note, the delivery driver was very professional and apologized for the delay.

I usually find the pizza to be amazing. However, I couldn't find a way to submit any complaints or suggestions. It seems that the manager today isn’t really focused on ensuring timely order deliveries. My pizza was promised to arrive 20 minutes ago. Because they didn't meet that timeframe, my kids will have to wait another two hours to eat, as we had planned for the pizza to be delivered on time. I spoke with the gentleman who answered the phone, Ben, and he was great. Unfortunately, there was only one driver today, and there seemed to be little concern for the customers’ issues. Overall, it was a complete disappointment.

I was really disappointed because I didn't receive the pizza I ordered for my shift. There was no call or any communication at all. I've ordered from here before without any issues, so this was unexpected.
