Yen Ching Xpress - Bloomington

This place is a small gem. The prices are cheap and the food is good. I had my doubts, but now I hope to come back sometime when I and my husband are back in the area. Besides, you must try to drink these Chinese herbs so well!

Great food, great service-- even the orange chicken made with white meat on request of my husband. My only complaint is that it smells heavily cigarette smoke, and we are both allergic to cigarette smoke. Nobody smoked, so I guess it came from behind. Again, GREAT food, so if smoke doesn't bother you, or if you run, you will love it! We had crabs rangoons, orange chicken and sweet and sour chicken.

I love the people who work here. I always command and they are always fast and professional. My house has three doors and we only use one of them for one entrance. Most deliveries come to the wrong door every time. But for the first time, their drivers listened to my instructions. You always remember now. You always get my order right. And they have good recommendations if you don't know what your hunger is for. I recommend her Shrimp Egg Fu Yug with one side of fried rice. This is my favorite dish.

I just stopped and the house special lo mine and it was literally the best I ever had. Was not crushed in oil and was the best taste! The man cooking was so beautiful and had the sweetest smile. Next time I'm in the area.

It is a family favorite. It may be a total dive, but we love the food and enjoy interacting with the proprietors and go there regularly. We've been regulars for 20 years. The place is popular with truckers and it is across the street from fuel (and respectable restrooms).
