Steak N Shake - Bloomington

When you decide to take humanity out of the process of one of the best diners there were and replace it with service like a cartoon from The Jetsons. I won't even allow my great-grandkids to go there anymore. I requested to dine in, and what do I get paper products not even tray why sit there and undo paper instead of having a tray. That is not considered dining in to me. As far as the meat goes we need to get a federal food inspection come down and see how much soybean is actually being produced inside of those hamburgers you are serving babe I know the difference between steak meat ground beef and tore food which is soybean.. my wife she was a butcher in Detroit Michigan so I know meats.... Service you wish to the other people maybe they will enjoy it, but when you get up at my age which I am 80 years old and I do know the difference between meats... I threw it out last time I'll spend $10 at your facility....

Peoria, Illinois I spent $25 dollars on food for it to be cold they said they would remake it and all they did was throw the fires and onion rings in the grease again and heated up the old sandwiches

The only reason I give 1 star is because the wait at the drive up was fairly quick but I am sick and tired of not getting what I ordered. What part of NO CHEESE do you not understand? I shouldn't have to open the bag and check everything mind you, at the drive up window to make sure I received what I ordered. AI couldn't care less if Mattoon Il Steak and Shake closed their doors. I won't be back!

They punched out a hole in the bottom of my chili cup when it was lifted out of the bag the chili went all over the floor! My entire order on my sandwiches were wrong, called there, the owner called me a liar. They got the shake onion rings right. One sandwich had at least a 1/4 c of mustard on it it was soggy. Threw it all away!

Totally disappointed in the quality of the food and service in Bloomington/Normal, used to be one of the best around. I won’t be back.
