Contribuiți la feedbackWe stopped at this place by chance and my heart wet when I saw stickers for several speeches, thought it was a terrible tourist place. but we (family of 4 with teenagers) were very pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. with a feeling of humor. beautiful day rounded. can be the salmon star and the cochon du roi (pork pie.)
My wife and I went to this restaurant last night with some friends, we have two sweet 1 yo babys. the owner of the restaurant only greeted us with the smile, the waitress and waitress were nice. Unfortunately, one of the two daughters was tired and just screamed a lot, so we decided to go after the starter. when we asked about the bill, the owner became aggressive and obliges us to pay the entire 4 menus, even if we had eaten the appetizers! I do not order this restaurant where the owner had no compassion and is interested only for the money he can get from them!
The owner Gregory is charming and totally involved in all aspects of the experience. Excellent food ambiance and decor. Great value a must stop.
My wife and I stayed in Blois on our way to Bezier and had a walk around Blois looking at restaurants and chose the L' annexe because the menu on display had English translation which makes choosing easier. on arrival we were greeted by a...waiter who spoke good English and showed us to a table outside, while choosing from the menu we were given a free glass of something to drink I don't what is was but it was very nice. I chose to start with Onion soup which arrived in a large bowl full to the brim, enough for two people, but it was so nice I ate the lot, my wife did not have a starter. My wife and I chose the same entrecote stake for our main course which was cook perfectly with fritz and a cabbage dish the name of which I don't know all washed down with a beer. Well, on our way home two weeks latter we stayed in Blois again and because the L' annexe was so good we ate there again. well you can call me boring but I chose to eat the same again but my wife decided to start with the gazpacho which she said was delicious, followed by the French version of surf and turf The prawns were presented on the plate to look as though you had to peel them and remove their heads but you didn't it had already been done. the portions were generous and we were full so we didn't have desserts. The food was very well presented and very well cooked the service from the staff was very good and the fact that they spoke English was very helpful all in all I can recommend this restaurant and will dine there again when in Blois. I hope those who read this review find it helpful.
Visiting Blois for the day we had the good fortune to stumbled upon this place by accident. The owner was very friendly and we enjoyed the banter as France had made the world cup final but England had lost the night before. The set lunch...menu was superb, lovely gazpacho followed by a delicious and perfectly cooked steak with double fried chips. Desserts looked good but couldn't eat one. Kids also enjoyed the steaks and burgers. Wine by the pichet and overall very good value would go back next time in Blois.
